Why is Kriyayoga Research Institute established in Allahabad?

At The Kumbha Mela of January, 1894, Mahavatar Babaji met with Shree Yukteshwar GIriji under a Banyan Tree at the bank of the Ganges in Allahabad and prophesied several events including the fact that Kriyayoga will spread everywhere and bring about world unity. It was for this spot with The Blessed Banyan Tree that Guruji Swami Shree Yogi Satyamji established the institute in Allahabad. The Blessed Banyan ,on the premises of Kriyayoga Research Institute, radiates an aura of peace and eternal blessings of the presence of Mahavatar Babaji - The Deathless Saint.

The Kriyayoga Temple

An old temple propogating the message and technique of Kriyayoga Meditation, described by Maharishi Patanjali in his text "Patanjal Yog Darshanam". This temple was made by disciples of Swami Shree Yukteshwar Giri, who visited the Kumbha Mela in 1894. This is the location where Mahavatar Babaji met Swami Yukteshwar Giri and advised to write the Scripture "The Holy Science" and forecasted that East and West will meet together with one golden middle path based on the spirituality of India and materialistic science of West.
