The True Meaning Of Independence

In The Light Of Kriyayoga…

 “ Celebrate True Independence By

Attaining Liberation - Moksha .... ”

Kriyayoga is the real celebration of Independence Day. The word “Independence” is comprised of the two words ‘In’ and ‘Dependence’. ‘In’ represents inner which means self and ‘dependence’ means dependency. Our all actions are dependent on (inner) Self-realization. Self-realization means realizing the true nature of Self. Lord Jesus explains the glory of self in the Bible as – “I and God are one”.  Self, manifested in the form of I or me, is one with God. There is no distance between Self and God. Therefore, self-realization can be also termed as God-realization. Realizing Self and God as one is the attainment of liberation.

On the Occasion of India Independence Day…

The True Meaning Of Hoisting The Flag....

Hoisting the flag is the symbolic representation of attainment of liberation.

The stick of the flag represents Brahmadanda- brain and spine. The chakra with 24 stripes represents the 24 elements which constitutes our body. The circle around the 24 stripes represents realization of perfectness (Poornataa). Each point of the circle is the beginning and the end of the circle. The circle represents no distance between beginning and end which is the state of “Yoga”. Yoga is the highest state of realization where one realizes distanceless (spaceless), timeless existence.

The three stripes in the flag represents the three universes- physical, astral and causal. By concentrating on the brain and spine we get control over the 24 elements by which we realize our perfectness. At this stage we realize no distance between Self and any creation. We realize that Self is manifested in infinite forms of creation. Self has become sky, air, fire, water and earth. Self is like infinite ocean dancing in the form of infinite waves. The distance between I and Self is experienced as zero. All of creation are merging in my consciousness and appearing from my existence. The whole Cosmos is my body. I and Cosmos are one. This is highest state of realization defined as Cosmic-consciousness. This stage is not an imaginary concept but perception of Truth which can be attained by the devoted practice of Kriyayoga.

Kriyayoga practice enables us to open the mystery of the three universes, crossing the boundary of maya and merging in Omnipresent Spirit. The three universes (physical, astral and causal) represents the creation of maya (illusion). We are like the chick sitting in the three concentric egg shells of physical, astral and causal universes and we think that the universe is vast and infinite unaware of the mystery hidden behind it. Kriyayoga is the Divine mother which breaks the shells of the three universes and we behold the great Infinite light of God. Therefore, practice Kriyayoga and go beyond the three universes to attain true independence - liberation (oneness with Absolute Spirit).
